| Tunic of the Teutonic Knights, wool and cotton Ref: C/ULF-CL-08 |
|
In medieval times many crusaders wore those tabards over the armour, often combined with a fitting cloak. They wanted the typical cross to be seen that symbolized the Teutonic Orders fight for liberating Jerusalem. Our tabards have a loose-fitting cut and are made following historical examples. The cross is arranged on the left side above the heart. The tabard is slit at the front and the back.
