Haubergeon 6mm Round Ring Dome Rivets Mixed with Solid Rings.  Ref: M/RM-HG

Manufactured from 1.0 mm mild steel wire wound to 6 mm internal diameter and woven using the 4 in 1 pattern with alternating rows of solid punched rings that are 1.0 mm square in section and 6mm internal diameter. Due to the extremely small ring diameter, this type of ring can and could historically be manufactured in only 1 mm steel, which reduced total weight 30 - 35%. We call this type of chain maile RM (Roman Mail). It was worn not only by the Kelts and Romans (Hamata), but was common throughout the the late medieval period. A haubergeon is a mid-sleeve chain maille shirt that reaches to the thighs. Haubergeon measurements size M: - chest circumference: approx. 130 cm when fully extended.
