This helmet is a replica of a Norman Spangenhelm of around 1180 made of 2 mm steel. The two halves of the helmet are firmly welded. The bandings are riveted to the helmet, just like the face plate. This process and the overlap ensure highest strength giving good protection on the battlefield. Including a riveted, high-quality and adjustable leather liner and chinstrap and authentic buckle from brass.
