Attic Helmet 1.6mm Steel
Attic Helmet With Red Plume 1.6mm Steel
The Attic Helmet with Crest Steel was a type that originated in Classical Greece and was widely used in Italy and the Hellenistic world and the Roman Empire.
Attic Helmet with Crest Steel was similar to the Chalcidian helmet without a nose guard. In Greece its use was not as common as the Corinthian or Phrygian helmets. Most examples of the Attic Helmet have been found in Italy where people used variations of the attic helmet but archaeologically it has been especially prominent in Samnite and Lucanian burials and their associated art.
The movable cheek pieces are lined inside with leather. The crest is mounted separately. A padded liner is included.
