Back in 2004 when launched, the GDFB Bucklers became very popular, very quickly because of the strong construction and affordable price. That remains the same now as it was then. This design has strength added in the form of plates on the face. Used from the 12th C onwards the buckler even has its place in the modern Police albeit in a slightly different form, the purpose however remains the same, defence and offence.
Manufactured using in 14 gauge steel, all of our bucklers have rolled edges and come in three sizes to meet individual needs.
This plain version combines complete functionality with economical pricing. The steel tube grip is securely riveted to the body of the buckler.
