Hand Forged Iron Tongs
Hand-Forged Iron Tongs, with Twisted Handles
These iron tongs are forged by hand and are composed of two arms, each forged in one continuous piece and riveted to a u-shaped, flexible connector made of steel. The surface is left in its natural state to give a rustic character to the tongs.
Each handle of the tongs have been twisted, which not only makes for visual appeal, but also improves grip. The arms terminate with claw-like or forked gripping ends.
The tongs can be used as BBQ grilling tongs or as fire tongs / coal tongs to properly arrange, stack or reposition the coals or other fuels when barbecuing or making a fire.
This sturdy blacksmith piece may not be an authentic, historically documented Medieval accessory, but is nevertheless a tool or prop with an old flair that will add a nice touch to the camp or field kitchen. it will also make a great addition to any rustic fire bowl or cooking and fireplace in your own garden.

Above specs may slightly vary from piece to piece. As this is a hand-forged product, each piece is unique and slight variations in shape and/or surface finish are quite normal. Above pictures are thus for reference only.
The steel used here is not rust-proof and might show slight surface tarnishing in places. We recommend you to maintain the tongs on a regular basis, for example by using a 3-1 Universal Oil, which is ideally suited for steel care.
