A medium-sized brass Medieval lantern with pierced cylindrical body a conical top and single socket inside to ensure a steady hold of a candle. The lantern has a hinged front door with a rectangular rawhide (parchment) panel along with many round cut-out holes that let the light shine through and provide a soft and pleasantly warm glow. There is a top loop and a handle on the back. It is equally convenient for indoor or outdoor use.
