Medieval Half Boot Turn Sewn
These boots have been replicated from archeological finds in Schleswig and Konstanz, Germany.
They are suitable for the period 1100 - 1400 a.d.
A Turn Shoe was a type of footwear made of leather which was worn during the Middle Ages.
It was so named because it was put together inside-out, and then was turned right side out once finished.

Above Ankle Outer Lacing
The upper leather is 1.8 mm thick made with non-chemical-based tanning methods
4mm thick Leather Sole also with vegetable tanning
Hand Made in the authentic turn-sewn method
Please Note:
The shoes durability is not comparable to modern footwear.
They are sensitive to asphalt and gravel. We recommend shoe inserts.
The shape of the shoe is narrow especially at the toes.
It is recommended that you order one size larger if your feet or wide or if you prefer space within the shoe
