A calf-length tunic that is made of cotton. It has been straight cut and is slit to the waist. It also features a shorter slit at the front and back centre.
The tunic came about in the 12th century. and was worn over a harness in combat.There are numerous representations of tunics, e.g. in the Maciejowski Bible and Codex Manesse.
Typical for a tunic is the Simple and straight cut with no decorative details. For an authentic look combine the tunic with a leather belt.
