Roman Provincial Ceramic Clay Cup 200ml, Height 10cm, Weight 200g
This cup has been produced in long and complex procedures of handcraft
The cup is made accurately following historical masters with Clay from the German region of Rheinzabern with the aid of slip builds the
rough material for this high-class product. The clay is prepared in old
Roman style without the use of filter-presses. After the preparation the
clay is thrown on the potter’s wheel or is turned in form bowls.
At the point of becoming leathery the pieces are decorated in a typical way.
The cup is glazed on the inside and is suitable for catering.
It is dishwasher safe but should be air dried sufficiently.

These jars vary from the Sigillata ware. The used clay is more coarse-grained
and the jars are fired without glazed slip.
