Roman Style Conical Cup With Chamfer, made from Clay
This cup has been produced in long and complex procedures of handcraft
It is made as the original would have been. The clay is from the German region of Rheinzabern.
It is prepared in the old Roman style without the use of filter-presses. After the preparation the clay is thrown on the potter’s wheel or is turned in form bowls.
At the point of becomming leathery the pieces are decorated in a typical way.
