A high quality reproduction of a Spanish breastplate with Fleur de Lis - decoration and also the coat of arms of the regions of Castilla and León, which are attached via a 24K - gilded metal sheet.
This type of breastplate was typical of Spanish armour of the 16th century and was mainly worn by foot soldiers. The chest armour was attached to the body by leather straps that crossed on the back.
